Advisories tell civilians what to do when observed conditions differ from the Current Approved Past. Compliance is voluntary. Records of noncompliance are not.

Yesterday is authorized to occur once. Guidance for civilians who have clear reason to believe that a prior day has returned, including what not to ask their neighbors.

How to use an advisory
- Confirm that the advisory applies to you before acting on it.
- Complete the filing named in the advisory before discussing the condition with another person.
- Retain ordinary documents. Do not create new ones.
- Resume normal activity when the advisory says you may.
An advisory is guidance, not a determination. A determination requires a docket, and a docket requires the condition to have already been closed.
